Determination of Lightning Induced Effects in Aeronautic Systems by Analytical Formulation

This paper deals with an original approach relying on the Partial Element Equivalent Circuit (PEEC) method through an analytic integration of PEEC equations. This work especially focuses on the implementation of a surface formalism (here called Surface PEEC, S-PEEC) including both the theoretical principles and various simulations with canonical structures subject to lightning strike. The very good agreement between S-PEEC and 3-D full-wave tools (here CST and Flux commercial software) validates the given methodology.
