Radio-goniométrie : modélisation, algorithmes, performances

The scientific area of this thesis is "array processing" that process and treat the signais at the output of multiple radio electric sensors. More precisely, this work deals with "direction finding" problems in order to estimate the direction of radio electric sources. The DOA estimation algorithms used a prior knowledge of the response of the array of sensors to a direction. Noticing that is diffrcult to reach an accurate knowledge of this response, the purpose of this thesis is double : develop a unified algorithm family based on realist models with additional parameters named "nuisance" in order to jointly estimate these parameters to the direction of arrival ; provide analytical expressions of the DOA estimation algorithms (MUSIC, Maximum Likelihood) in presence of modeling error and asymptotic conditions.
