Here we demonstrate the feasibility of detecting aggregates of plasmonic particles in microchannels using resonant light scattering. The optical setup is based on a dark-field type illumination using the transparent microfluidic device as a waveguide and an array of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) as light source.
